Opening Soon: The Gym

The long wait is over and we are exited to announce that the gym will be opening again on the 5th of January 2026.

It has been a long journey in getting the gym all sorted after a tree unceremoniously came crashing down on our gym 10 months back in early 2025. Causing significant structural damage to the front awning, roof and roller door, as well as allowing some water to leak in causing further issues. But we are ecstatic to share that it has all been sorted out thanks to council who have been working hard with their insurer to get it all sorted. We even gave the entire room a fresh coat of paint!

We are happy that our equipment has survived the ordeal, though we did have to give it all a very good clean.

We have also decided that all 2025 paid up gym members will be rolled over to 2026. For anyone else who wishes to join our gym the fee is $145 for the 2026 calendar year, plus all gym members need to be Rec Club members and is only $5 for the year.
